Citations and source links
Understand citation provenance and why source checking is central to Tribuno.
Why citations matter
Tribuno is designed around source-cited research. Search results, Lens passages and memos should point back to source decisions or source documents wherever possible.
What to check
Check the decision title, source URL, relevant paragraphs, issue context and whether the passage actually supports the point being made.
- Keep ET comparable decisions separate from Lens source families.
- Check nearby source text, not only the extracted snippet.
- Treat missing or inconsistent citations as review blockers.
When a citation looks wrong
Do not rely on the output. Re-open the source, check nearby text and report the issue with the decision or memo title rather than unnecessary personal details.
